Hand off the scut work

A new thing, a little outside RadBrief's usual lane. Plain guides for using AI in real work. This is the first.

RadBrief is radiology. This is a small detour, but a related one, so bear with me.

Most of us do not have an assistant. The scut still piles up. The small repetitive work that quietly eats an afternoon, and never needed your judgment in the first place.

You can hand that to AI now. But only if you know how, and most “use AI” advice skips the how. I think that is the part that actually matters, so I wrote it down. The guides live on a small site I set up called Modvium. That is all it is, a home for these.

The first one is the boring, necessary part: setup. What Claude Cowork actually is, what you need, how to install it, and how to stay in front of what it does. About twenty minutes, start to finish. One line worth keeping even if you read nothing else: the test for what to hand over is whether a job would take you an hour of clicking and copying but no real thinking. That is exactly the work to delegate.

The full walk-through is here.

More guides after this one. They go out through RadBrief.
